Welcome to Casual Means. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Casual Means website, dashboard, software, analytics, tools, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

Casual Means is operated by Casual Means LLC (“Casual Means,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By accessing or using Casual Means, you agree to these Terms of Use.

1. About Casual Means

Casual Means is a trading analytics, monitoring, and technology platform designed to track trading activity, analyze performance, monitor risk, and evaluate AI-assisted and automated trading strategies.

Casual Means may integrate with third-party brokerage platforms, market-data providers, artificial intelligence systems, and other technology services.

2. Not Investment Advice

Information, analytics, signals, metrics, AI-generated outputs, strategy evaluations, market information, and other content available through Casual Means are provided for informational and technological purposes.

Nothing provided through Casual Means constitutes investment, financial, legal, tax, or other professional advice.

Casual Means LLC does not guarantee that any trading strategy, artificial intelligence system, algorithm, signal, analysis, or trading decision will be profitable or appropriate for any particular person.

3. Trading Risk

Trading securities involves substantial risk and may result in the loss of some or all capital invested.

Past performance, simulated performance, backtesting results, paper-trading results, artificial intelligence predictions, and historical results do not guarantee future performance.

Automated and AI-assisted trading introduces additional risks, including software errors, inaccurate data, model errors, connectivity failures, delayed execution, unexpected market conditions, and other technological failures.

Users are responsible for understanding and accepting the risks associated with trading activity conducted through or in connection with the Platform.

4. Brokerage Accounts and Third-Party Services

Casual Means may connect with third-party services, including brokerage platforms, financial APIs, market-data providers, and technology services.

Brokerage accounts and assets remain subject to the agreements, policies, rules, and requirements of the applicable brokerage provider.

Casual Means LLC does not control the availability, accuracy, security, execution quality, or continued operation of third-party services.

Where supported, brokerage authorization may be completed directly through the brokerage provider using secure authorization technologies such as OAuth. Casual Means does not require users to provide their brokerage password directly to the Platform when brokerage-controlled OAuth authentication is available.

5. AI and Automated Systems

Casual Means may use artificial intelligence, algorithms, and automated systems to analyze information, evaluate trading opportunities, monitor strategies, generate trading-related outputs, or support trading workflows.

Artificial intelligence systems can produce inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or unexpected results.

No AI-generated output should be considered a guarantee of accuracy, market performance, or profitability.

6. Paper Trading and Simulated Results

Certain portions of Casual Means may operate in a simulated or paper-trading environment.

Simulated results may differ materially from actual trading results. Simulations may not fully account for factors including liquidity, slippage, commissions, market impact, execution delays, bid-ask spreads, or changing market conditions.

Information identified as Paper Trading, Simulated, or similar should not be interpreted as actual investment performance.

7. Account Security

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their Casual Means login credentials and for activity occurring through their accounts.

Users should promptly report suspected unauthorized access or security incidents to casualmeans@gmail.com.

8. No Guarantee of Availability

Casual Means may be modified, interrupted, suspended, or unavailable from time to time.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, continuous market data, continuous AI availability, successful trade execution, or error-free operation.

9. Intellectual Property

The Casual Means name, software, interface, design, analytics systems, documentation, and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to Casual Means LLC, except where otherwise indicated.

Unauthorized copying, modification, distribution, reverse engineering, or commercial exploitation of proprietary Casual Means materials is prohibited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Casual Means LLC will not be liable for trading losses, investment losses, lost profits, lost opportunities, data loss, service interruptions, third-party failures, or indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of the Platform.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

11. Changes to These Terms

Casual Means LLC may update these Terms periodically.

The effective date displayed at the top of this page identifies the most recent revision.

Continued use of Casual Means following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
